GS Inima is close to turning 25 in Chile. It was in 1997 that Inima arrived in this country, being awarded under the BOOT concession modality the brackish water desalination plant of Arica, in the north of the country. An 18.000 m3/day desalination plant that was financed, designed, built and operated by Inima in Chile. The concession period was 12 years, until 2010, later extending the operation for two years. Arica was the first large-capacity desalination plant in the country.
