The joint venture GS Inima Environment / Ciclagua will be in charge of the operation and maintenance of this facility that serves a population of 70 thousand inhabitants. With this new contract there are 27 wastewater plants managed GS Inima in Spanish territory.

The Public Wastewater Sanitation Entity of the Valencian Community (EPSAR) has awarded the joint venture GS Inima Environment/Ciclagua, made up of GS Inima (50%) and Ciclagua (50%), the operation and maintenance contract for the Albufera Sur wastewater treatment and sanitation system in Valencia. With a duration of four years, with a possible extension of one year, the amount of the contract is 8,8 million euros plus VAT.

 The treatment plant, which is located in the municipality of Almussafes (Valencia), manages a daily flow of 20.173 m3 and treats wastewater from a population of 70.000 inhabitants. This facility has a stage of conventional biological treatment in the modality of activated sludge and disinfection by chlorination. For its part, the sludge line is made up of a stage of thickening by gravity and flotation, anaerobic stabilization and centrifugal dehydration, the sludge generated being intended for agricultural use.

with this contract GS Inima continues to expand its area of ​​operation in Spain, where more and more municipalities trust in it.
