CABOS

Desalination

First desalination plant for human consumption of drinking water in Mexico.

At the Desalination Plant of Los Cabos, GS Inima used the latest technological advances to reduce energy consumption. It has a collection of seawater by beach wells with the possibility of expanding up to twice the capacity. More than a high-tech hydraulic installation, the project is a milestone in the modern history of Mexico, since it provides drinking water to the popular neighborhoods of the city of Cabo San Lucas, an extremely dry region experiencing accelerated growth with the consequent demand for basic services such as drinking water.
