The Shuweihat 4 project marks a significant safety milestone with the completion of 3 million Lost Time Injury (LTI)-free work hours this past May, underscoring its strong commitment to operational excellence and safety leadership in the environmental and infrastructure sectors.

Located in the Al Dhafra region, Shuweihat 4 is one of the UAE’s flagship desalination projects, designed to strengthen national water security through sustainable and energy-efficient technology. Once completed, the plant will have a daily capacity of 70 million imperial gallons (MIGD) of potable water, supporting the growing needs of Abu Dhabi and its surrounding communities.

“This remarkable achievement is a testament to the unwavering commitment to safety that defines our project culture. It reflects the dedication, professionalism, and collective responsibility of every individual on site—employees, contractors, and partners alike. Together, we have demonstrated that with shared purpose and a steadfast focus on safety, exceptional outcomes are possible.”
