Madrid, September 01, 2022.
The Public Wastewater Sanitation Entity of the Valencian Community (EPSAR) has awarded the joint venture GS Inima Environment/Ciclagua, made up of GS Inima (50%) and Ciclagua (50%), the operation and maintenance contract for 44 small municipal sanitation and purification systems in the province of Alicante. With a duration of 4 years, and a possible extension of one year, the amount of the contract is 6.607.678,3 million euros plus VAT.
The offer presented by GS INIMA-CICLAGUA was the best valued by the EPSAR technicians, especially in the section referring to optimizations. The improvements presented by GS INIMA-CICLAGUA focus on the use of renewable energy and reduction of the carbon footprint. In addition, it should be noted that they will be installed in total 352 solar panels of 465 Wp, with a total installed power of 164 kWp in the different facilities that make up the contract.
The system has a Joint treatment capacity of 7.500 m³/day to purify the water of more than 20.000 inhabitants. Likewise, it has a tertiary treatment through a tributary ultrafiltration system, which in turn makes it suitable for various uses.
With this new award, GS Inima consolidates its position in Spain and more specifically in the Valencian Community, in which it already manages three contracts with the Public Entity for Residual Water Sanitation of the Valencian Community (EPSAR).
