Spain, January 08, 2024.

The “Public Wastewater Sanitation Entity of the Valencian Community (EPSAR)” has awarded the joint venture GS Inima / Ciclagua / SAV the operation and maintenance service of the sanitation system of the Camp Turia II Wastewater Treatment Plant and its network of emissary collectors, with a maximum total duration of five years. The total award amount, including VAT, exceeds 5,6 million euros for five years.

The plant, which includes a water line, sludge line and deodorization, has a treatment capacity of 16.296 m3/day, through biological reactors, anaerobic sludge digestion, co-digestion and cogeneration to treat wastewater from a population of 67.037 inhabitants.

In addition, it collects the flows of urban and industrial wastewater from the towns of Vilamarxant, Riba-roja del Turia and L’Eliana as well as the adjacent residential areas to convey them to the treatment plant. The flows are transported entirely by gravity to the WWTP, for which it has four aqueducts, most notably the one built over the Turia River.

The joint venture GS Inima / Cyclagua / SAV will carry out numerous improvements to optimize the operation of the Sanitation and purification system of the Camp Turia II Wastewater Treatment Plant and its network of emissary collectors. Also I know highlights the installation of a photovoltaic plant 211,46 kWp.

With this award, GS Inima remains one of the leaders in wastewater treatment in the Valencian Community, where it already manages 45 Wastewater Treatment Plants
