GS Inima Environment communicates the signing of the QPA (Quota Purchase Agreement) with BRK Ambiental for the acquisition of 82,76% of the shares of the Investment Fund in Multi-Strategy Participations in Industrial Operations, indirect controller of the industrial treatment operations of BRK Ambiental, for a amount of €175 million.
FIP Operaciones Industriales is a Brazilian company that holds 100% of BRK Operaciones Industriales, which in turn controls three subsidiaries: Aquapolo Ambiental (State of Sao Paulo), BRK Ambiental Jaceaba (State of Minas Gerais) and Distribuidora de agua de Triunfo ( State of Rio Grande do Sul).
The conclusion of the acquisition process is subject to compliance with the suspensive conditions provided for in the QPA. BRK Environmental is the largest private sanitation company in the country, created in October 2016. On the other hand, GS Inima Brazil controls eight Sanitation and Drinking Water Treatment concessions in the States of Sao Paulo and Alagoas.
