Contribution
We have a water treatment capacity of 1,000,000 m3 per day and a desalination capacity of 700,000 m3 per day, serving approximately 8 million people.
In the same way, the company’s social action programmes are mainly designed to raise awareness about the importance of water and protecting the environment.

Our Quality, Environment, Energy, Health and Safety Policy.
This Policy can be traced to the former Occupational Risk Prevention Policy and the Energy and Environmental Management and Quality Policy signed in 2018.
The basic action principles of this new Policy are as follows:
Integrated Quality, Environment, Energy, Health and Safety Policy.
-
Achieve the “4Zs”: Zero Defects / Zero Incidents / Zero Pollution / Zero Ill Health.
Include Health and Safety in work plans.
Application of the most demanding Quality, Health and Safety requirements and solutions respectful of the environment.
Inform staff of the requirements under the Policy.
Continuous improvement.
Periodic reviews by Management.
Customer satisfaction.
Regulatory and legal requirements.
Prevent contamination and minimise the environmental impact.
Committed to the environment
Our environmental performance
-
Efficient consumption of materials.
We use materials responsibly, rationally and sustainably. We apply sustainable management criteria at our facilities and perform works undertaking environmental impact studies, with a view to rationalising the consumption of material and energy, avoiding spills and emissions into the atmosphere, handling waste accordingly.
-
Waste management
We work in the field of R&D&i to decrease the amount of waste sludge. We strive to reduce the volume of hazardous waste, by making improvements to processes and progressively replacing the use of certain substances.
-
We take care with water quality.
We define the strategy based on respect for water, around two principles:
-
Efficiency as a priority.
We continue promoting the energy efficiency programme by making savings in operations and generating clean energy as part of processes.
We fight climate change.
We are aware of the main emissions associated with our processes and determine how to mitigate them and how to prepare ourselves for a future in which the availability of resources could compromise our mission.
