LOS CABOS

Desalination

First desalination plant for potable water consumption in Mexico.

At the Los Cabos Desalination Plant, GS Inima employed the latest technological advancements to reduce energy consumption. Seawater is drawn in through beach wells. There is potential for expansion to double the current capacity. More than just a high-tech hydraulic facility, the project is a milestone in modern Mexican history, as it provides potable water to the popular neighborhoods of Cabo San Lucas, a region that is extremely arid and experiencing rapid growth, leading to increased demand for essential services such as drinking water.
