With 450.000 inhabitants in 1995, the inhabitants of the city of São Paulo had their domestic effluents collected, but only 2% of this volume was treated. In this stage, GS Inima Ambient – Serviços Ambientais de Ribeirão Preto, invests in research, new technologies and technical training for professionals, completely transforming this reality. With the Ribeirão Preto Plant, more than 700.000 inhabitants have 99% of their domestic effluents treated and, in addition, the plant has the capacity to generate 15 thousand kw/h per day, which guarantees energy efficiency.
