The first desalination plant in the US that serves almost 190 thousand inhabitants

The Taunton Plant operates as a Desalination and as a Brackish Water Desalination Facility. The 5 MGD capacity hydraulic project was built in the Taunton River estuary, in the state of Massachusetts. In 2017, the Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection’s Drinking Water Program recognized GS Inima for its extraordinary performance.
