ACADES, aims to strengthen coordination and collaboration between different organizations -including companies, universities, study centers and associations- to face the growing need for water in Chile.

Chile has more than 4.000 kilometers of coastline and this characteristic is one of the great strengths for exploring desalination, whose production of water resources from seawater opens new supply possibilities in a context of scarcity framed by climate change. Aware of this, GS Inima, represented by Alejandro Torrecillas, Commercial Delegate of Latam – Andean Region, joins 12 other associates to found ACADES.

ACADES seeks to become a voice heard to contribute to public policies related to the use of water and desalination as a green and sustainable water source, and to identify and promote best practices in the industry, share experiences, generate meeting spaces to continue developing the industry and encourage education on issues related to desalination in the general public.
